One man stands alone against the mysterious Underworld Grandmaster, who seeks world domination through his immense military might. Hiryu is the youngest and most powerful warrior of the United Nations' special agency, the Striders (a group of combat and intelligence professionals). Armed only with his own body and the "Light Sword Cipher," which emits highly accelerated plasma, Hiryu has now invaded Underworld's vaunted absolute defense zone. ■Stage & Boss Character Introduction ●Stage 1 (Boss: Ouroboros) Kazakhstan Hiryu invades enemy territory alone to investigate an enemy military base under construction. There, he finds countless enemy soldiers waiting for him. ●Extra Stage (Boss: Sokhoz R) Oil Field He pursues a tank that has escaped from the Kazakhstan base into the desert. Flames rising everywhere block Hiryu's path. ●Stage 2 (Boss: The East Wind Sisters) Siberia After defeating the giant tank, Hiryu heads to Siberia in pursuit of the Underworld King. However, a harsh snowy plain stands in his way. ●Stage 3 (Boss: Lagou Mechanic) Unexplored Amazon A complete change from the snowy plains, the stage moves to the depths of the Amazon. There, terrifying ancient creatures live. ●Stage 4 (Boss: Balrog Core) Airship Balrog Hiryu boards Grandmaster's super weapon, the airship. Destroy the anti-gravity device that powers it. ●Stage 5 (Boss: Grandmaster) THE THIRD MOON The final battle begins in the capital of the third moon.
