But then he started a reign of violence; all in the name of loving her. He tried to kill Raoul, tried to force her to marry him, and terrorized the Opera Populaire. Christine now saw the monster; the real person beneath the mask, and he wasn't her angel anymore. They couldn't even be friends after all he had done.
