A Six-Year-Old Garden
Bunny designed the garden for the spinal unit at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital six years ago for the charity Horatio’s Garden. This video shows how it has developed after six years of growth and Bunny chats to the head gardener, Alex Law, who has been nurturing it for the last few years about the successes and failures. As well as maintaining the gardens, Alex has created magnificent pot displays. Alex’s role is not just head gardener but also to encourage the patients to actively participate in the garden, all of who have suffered life changing injuries. Hear top tips from Alex about propagating Aeoniums, growing Sweet Peas and about his new plant finds. The aim of the charity is to create a home away from home where people can come to terms with a new way of living and develop new interests and skills. #hosepipeban #charity
