Ch 1, turn R2 – R4: hdc in each st across (54). Ch 1, turn. At the end of R4, do not chain 1, fasten off green and weave in ends. Turn. R5: join brown with a (sl st, ch 1, hdc) or a hdc in the first st, hdc in each st across (54). Ch 1, turn. R6 – R16: hdc in each st across (54). Ch 1, turn. At the end of Row 12, do not chain 1, fasten off brown and weave in ends. Turn. R17: join blue with a (sl st, ch 1, hdc) or a hdc in the first st, hdc in each st across (54). Ch 1, turn R18 – R68: hdc in each st across (54). Ch 1, turn. At the end of 68, do not chain 1, fasten off blue and weave in ends. Petal Border R1: Join green with a (sl st, ch 3, sl st) in the first st of Row 68. (Ch 3, skip 2 sts, sl st into the next st) across to last st, (sl st, ch 3, sl st) into the last st of the row. (Ch 3, skip a row, sl st into the edge of the next row) across to first foundation ch, (sl st, ch 3, sl st) into the first foundation ch. (Ch 3, skip 2 chs, sl st into the next ch) across to the last foundation ch, (sl st, ch 3, sl st) into the last foundation ch. (Ch 3, skip a row, sl st into the edge of the next row) across to first st of Row 68, sl st in the same place as joining. Fasten off and weave in ends. R2: join flower petal colour with a sl st in the corner ch-3 sp (ch 2, dc, ch 2, sl st) in the same sp. *sl st into the next ch-3 sp, (ch 2, dc, ch 2, sl st) into the same sp*. Repeat from * to * around entire blanket ending with a sl st in the ch-3 corner sp where you began. Fasten off and weave in ends.
