Thank you for always watching!! This time, we're featuring Mt. Odaigahara (Hidegatake), one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains and also selected as one of the 100 Famous Flower Mountains, at 1695m. After a winding 30-minute drive along the Odaigahara Driveway, we arrived at the parking lot at an altitude of 1570m!! 😁 From the parking lot, it takes less than an hour to reach the summit, but we took the reverse route, first heading towards Ojagura. It's a bit scary with the sheer cliffs, but a magnificent view unfolds before you, overlooking Mt. Shakagatake, Mt. Gyojagaeshi, Mt. Daifugen, and more—it's truly breathtaking!! 😆 I was disappointed that the rhododendrons I was looking forward to were already finished blooming, but Ushishigahara and Masakigahara are like another world, with their vast expanse of dead trees, and they're truly breathtaking 😉 The climb to the summit involves a long, continuous staircase, which is quite tiring, but you can enjoy the panoramic views of the vast ocean and Masakigahara from above 👍 The view of the ocean from Masaki Pass was also magnificent!!
