10 days underground - extreme cave exploration

We spent 12 days, including 9 consecutive nights, rigging, exploring and documenting Thanksgiving Cave. Real hard-core caving: long duration, heavy packs, claustrophobic passages, verticals - you name, we did it, day after day after day. This was a major exploration expedition organized by John Lay, with a separate support team for resupply on day 5. The supporters weathered torrential rain outside, and pervasive wetness inside, to deliver what we needed.
