DK64 101% In Full - Part 4: Fifteen Beavers Per Minute?!?

It's the continuation of DK64 101%! We've finished most of the worlds off leaving just Crystal Caves and Creepy Castle and I won't lie to you here. This stream I did Crystal Caves and Creepy Castle both in full. Other than Beetle which I took care of last week. Fun! While, for the most part, the game's hardest GBs are behind me there were still a good number of surprises this time, biggest among them Beaver Bother which after first trying the first one I was underestimating. Do not underestimate Beaver Bother. Anyway, fun chunk of game with perhaps one of my least favorite worlds of the game and perhaps my most favorite world of the game. Lots of good exploring about, lots of challenges I had no memory of and a lot of food for thought as far as what constitutes good 3D Platformer design? How needed are "hit buttons from 1 to 4" puzzles? How about the best Minecart level in the game that you forgot about why not? By the way, worth noting does have a bunch of talking in it (as 6 hour long livestreams often do) with how my 4th of July weekend went being the first big topic. I beat three Mario Maker "campaigns" in twelve hours, went and rode Tormenta at Six Flags Over Texas unexpectedly, watched some SGDQ, saw Xbox axed everyone, struggled to catch up with dozens of new anime that aired during the previous four things and slept late. Course, talked about a lot more else like my Godot 3D Platformer ambitions, what makes a 3D Platformer good, what that Temu ad even is, the nature of jock straps and better random tangents than that, I'm sure. A lot came up! Most of it was fun to talk about! Next week's the big finale. DK Isles just has 10 GBs left. Hideout Helm is open and ready to go. I lied, DK Isles has an eleventh GB. Final K. Rool.
