MARATHON DE ROYAN 2026. 5ème marathon, sous canicule

What an event! I'll remember my 5th marathon in Royan for a long time. It was right here that I set my personal best of 3 hours, 57 minutes, and 14 seconds. But the sweltering heat prevented me from improving it. I spent the entire race constantly splashing myself with water and staying hydrated. I also met some wonderful people, like Charles Edouard and Stéphane, nicknamed "Pirate of the Caribbean" or "Jack Sparrow." Thanks to Myriam for the incredibly professional and invaluable aid stations, and to Sophie!
