Bartlehiem Skeelertocht 2026/ OFK / ONK

Saturday 06-06-2026 I was in Friesland yesterday; no, it wasn't time for the Eleven Cities. It was time for the Bartlehiem Skeelertocht 2026. What an insane event with grandstands, spectators, cameras, very fast skaters, transponders, a funny man on the radio, and cobblestones. Believe me to say it... this event has it all! The Open Dutch Championship and Open Frisian Championship are held here. It was a tough battle, with even more participants at the start than the year before. Awesome! It's quite a drive, but it's worth it: a true classic of a skating tour! It's unbelievable how fast some people can skate, but fortunately, you can do it all at your own pace!
