Ventura to Santa Barbara Coastal Route – Complete Virtual Bike Tour [4k full ride POV]

Scenic full POV bike ride From downtown Ventura, California up the coastline to Santa Barbara through Carpinteria and Montecito using a variety of street and off-street bikeways, backroads, historic highways and highway alternates. We have a lot to take in on this one! This is some of the best riding scenery in the United States if not the world where nearly every mile offers views of the Pacific Ocean, tranquil beaches, the Channel Islands (on a clear day!), and the coastal hills and mountains. If you’re super lucky you might even spot seals, dolphins and Gray Whales, along with plenty of sea birds. I’ve included chapters for this video as it’s likely much too long for a single watch through, unless you just put it on as virtual scenery (there is just an ambient sound option, see below). This is the re-filming of a route I did back in 2023, which wasn’t intended as a full unbroken route, and then still suffered from some technical issues nearing Carpinteria that limited me to handheld phone footage to quickly wrap up. That’s not to say things went entirely to plan though… You’ll notice just about half way that the ‘conditions’ outside change rather sharply as a result of it having actually taken multiple rides to complete the route!
