Kiss Immortals (Webisodes 1 through 9) PC Game Playthrough (Pathway #1)
Released between 1999 and 2001, "Kiss Immortals" was a series of video game webisodes published on the Internet for the PC by Brilliant Digital Entertainment. These webisodes allowed you to choose your own pathway to affect the outcomes of the storyline, which is a neat concept. During my playthrough, I play through each of the 3 possible pathways by selecting the various choices on screen. This series was very impressive for its time with great gameplay, graphics, and storyline, being released during the "Psycho Circus Era" of Kiss. I am playing this game using Windows 2000, with the graphics running under Software Rendering to make the game run better. It does, however, suffer from mild pixelation, poorer lighting, and some texture bending like in PS1 games, but still looks amazing for 2001. Originally there were 27 episodes (released monthly) total, but these episodes are pretty much lost forever because only the first nine were ever published as a full PC game on CD (released in 2001, and I am playing this version). A version for DVD players (can be played on a PlayStation 2) was released in 2001 as well. Supposedly, there was a PAL bootleg DVD that contained all 27 episodes, but I have yet to see one. I am somewhat doubtful if one even exists, so comment if you know more about it. All foreign versions of these webisodes were released in English only. No foreign dubs exist.
