Forced on a Cruise?! 😰Can We Survive 7 Days? | Day 1

California Cruise Vlog Series 1 We never planned to go on a cruise... but family obligations had other ideas. So here we are, spending the next 7 days aboard Princess Cruises' Royal Princess to see if two non-cruisers can survive. Day 1 starts with our drive to San Pedro, scrambling through check-in because we definitely didn't do the pre-boarding check-in ahead of time, and boarding the ship for a quick tour. First impressions? The ship is nice. The balcony cabin is surprisingly decent. The drinks are good (if you like your cocktails on the sweeter side). The Princess Plus package seems promising. The food? We've had better chicken fingers at a gas station. The grill was rough, the buffet was chaos, and was a huge red flag for the week ahead. We finish the day at the sail away party, and dinner, where his parents' cruise addiction finally pays off with off-menu Filipino food from the dining room staff for the coming days. Can Princess Cruises win over two people who never wanted to be here in the first place?
