E130 - Clayton's Corner, Melaleuca Inlet and Rafting Old River, Bathurst Harbour Tasmania

We head into Bathurst Harbour and visit Clayton's Corner and the old Win & Clyde's house before we climb Mount Beattie. We take the tender down the Melaleuca Inlet and see the almost extinct Orange Bellied Parrot and the abandoned old tin mine. Finally we move No Regrets to the mouth of Old River and take the tender upstream to explore the forest and navigate the rapids having a bit of fun on the way back. We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022.
