The Reality of Being Senegalese in Morocco (Unfiltered)
What is it really like to be a Senegalese immigrant in Morocco? In this video, I go beyond the surface and step into the real lives of Senegalese people living in Morocco. This is not the version you usually see online. No filters, no assumptions, just honest conversations and real experiences from the people living it every day. Morocco is one of the most visited countries in Africa, known for its culture, history, and tourism. But what is life like for Africans from other countries, especially Senegalese immigrants trying to build a life here? I spent time in the Medina, met members of the Senegalese community, and asked direct questions about their daily lives, opportunities, challenges, and how they are treated as Black Africans living in Morocco. We also touch on cultural differences, integration, work opportunities, and the reality behind the headlines. With recent conversations and tensions surrounding African unity, migration, and events like the African Cup of Nations, I wanted to understand what life is really like on the ground, away from social media and outside opinions. This is about real people, real stories, and real perspectives. If you’re interested in: life in Morocco, Senegalese immigrants, being Black in Morocco, African diaspora experiences, travel documentaries, and unfiltered conversations about culture and identity then this is a video you don’t want to miss. Marrakesh, a former imperial city in western Morocco, is a major economic center and home to mosques, palaces and gardens. The medina is a densely packed, walled medieval city dating to the Berber Empire, with mazelike alleys where thriving souks (marketplaces) sell traditional textiles, pottery and jewelry. A symbol of the city, and visible for miles, is the Moorish minaret of 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque. PLEASE KINDLY SUBSCRIBE !
