Drug trafficking has sparked a real war in Mexico. The conflicts have already caused tens of thousands of deaths. Heavily armed and extremely well organized, drug traffickers are ready to do anything to smuggle the tons of narcotics produced each year to the United States, one of the leading consumer countries. Engaging the army and the police forces, the government has for several years entered head-on into this fight, proclaimed a national issue.
