EastEnders: Nick Cotton Scenes - Episode 099 ('90 Exit)

Nick seems very keen at first for Dot to eat the shepherd's pie. Though she brings up the 'angel of goodness'. An old Christmas card he made for her when he was about 6. It makes him suddenly have a conscience as he lashes out and tells her he knows she's trying to make him feel guilty. Even more so as insists any mother would die for her son. He cleans up the meals and declares he's going to the chippy but she insists it's alright. He leaves his key on the side and picks up bag, saying he's going to stay with a mate. Dot gives him a bible and breaks down crying when he leaves. He won't be back now for over a year. 14th June 1990.
