Canoe camping on the Current River 2016/17
A 3 day 2 night (and my first),canoe trip down the Current River in Missouri's National Scenic Riverway. My friend Bob and I put in at Akers Ferry and paddled about 40 miles to the Two Rivers take out Dec./Jan 2016/17. An awesome spring fed river that flows year round with multiple springs ,caves, and bluffs. Very scenic and very little sign of civilization. Great trip, can't wait to paddle more of it!
