Home chores are never ending, so one person taking up everything on her shoulders is not appropriate. So we as a family distribute the household tasks among each other. Mihika took up the task of making the breakfast (Paneer Rolls), Tanvi unloaded the dishwasher and put the clothes to laundry, I swept and mopped the floor and washed the utensils that wouldn't go into the dishwasher and my husband took care of the puja and related works. This way there was no load on one person to finish all the tasks. I feel household chores are not tasks, they are lifeskills that everyone should learn. These help people in surviving independently when alone. And as my daughters are yet to fly to their nests, I feel they need to learn these basic things. Off late Mihika has been showing a lot of interest in cooking and today her paneer rolls recipe was a super hit. She made even the chapatis from the scratch and I was so proud of her. The best part is she made everything with following the concept of clean as you go and nothing could make me more happier than already was :) I also showed a glimpse of my new Ikea furniture and cold coffee recipe. Hope you all like this video and if yes then don't forget to Like, Share and Subscribe :) Paneer Rolls Recipe: Paneer Marination: In a bowl add salt, haldi, red chilli powder, chat masala, lemon juice (you can add 2tbsns of curd too along with some more seasonings of your choice) my daughter added what she likes to eat. Mix everything well and coat the thinly sliced paneer with this mixture and refrigerate this for 20min minimum. Then take chapatis and add vegetables of your choice. We added grated carrot and cucumber, you can add lettuce, onions, cabbage, capsicum, you can also spread chipotle or mayo to the chapatis for that extra taste. Spread these veggies in the centre of the chapati and add the marinated paneer slices and roll them. That's all, yummy and tasty paneer rolls are done.
