Location: Navigation Way, Preston Date Filmed: 29-10-2016 - Trains: BR Class 14 D9539/1965 + Hawthorn Leslie 3931/1938 ‘Linda’ (Ribble Steam Railway) A video of the two level crossings at Preston docks, found on the Ribble Steam Railway. One of these level crossings runs along the road, over the Preston docks swing bridge. The swing bridge occasionally opens for vessels coming in and out of the marina. There's a pedestrian level crossing beside the swing bridge, allowing pedestrians to cross the line. All the equipment seems rather old. It is very interesting to look at and quite awesome seeing a steam train travelling over the bridge. Something very unique and rare in the UK. I have noted the fact that the footage was rather shaky (as told by many people in the comments section). This is an old video (from 2016) and many of my newer, more recent videos are far better.
