Driving UP to the SNOW from Redlands to Big Bear on Hwy 38 after the HUGE Snowstorm. 1/26/2021. EASY

It is January 26, 2021 the day after we got almost 2 feet of snow and some locations in Big Bear Lake, California. I am driving these major highways up and down to help you see with your own eyes if you can make it. We take Highway 38 from the Redlands/Mentone area. Highway 38 is the longest route of the mountains of the San Bernardino national Forest. However although it's the longest and you hit the highest altitude on any of the roads up here at 8443 feet, It is still the road I would send my mom on if I had a choice in the winter time sometimes it can be worse but there's not as many cliffs to fall off. And the only worst part Potentially. ever is a little bit more snow up at the top of Onyx Summit however when I went through there in this video that you will see there wasn't more snow there than there was 1500 feet lower in elevation here in big Bear. Please stay safe and watch the video I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how easy it will be to get here but you need to get here Wednesday, January 27, 2021 because the storm gets here on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at about 7 PM and we're supposed to get another foot to a foot and a half.
