Brendon Urie's Swan Song: 'Viva Las Vengeance' by Panic At The Disco
5/24/24 UPDATE: My deepest apologies, but I have been fighting copyright for literal months, and I've had to cut the music video section about "Sugar Soaker" in near entirety. Since I made this video well before I could make any money on the platform, I was not the most conscientious regarding copyright. This was one of my favorite sections of the video however, so if you'd like to see the entirely unedited music video section, it can be found here: • VLV Music Video Analysis Come with me as I delve deeply into an album that I don't particularly like that much, but am fervently intrigued by: 'Viva Las Vengeance' by Panic! At The Disco. Critics seemed to like it well enough, but audiences were a bit more mixed, and I wanted to finally sit down and decide for myself what this album is about...at least to me. Something I’ve realized while making this, is that even though I may not like the album, I wouldn’t be making this if I didn’t care. Also, I know there are so many typos. To be frank, I wrote this in two months (20,000 words while I finished my senior thesis), filmed it in one day, and edited it in a week and a half. It had consumed my brain and I had to just be done. If you want to jump around the video, feel free! I know it's a lot of content, so if you just want the highlights, I recommend checking out the tour section, the music videos, and the conclusion. I said it in the video and it's true, this is more of a "creative writing project" for me.
