How to solve matrix of dimensions (2*2). Probability question without a sample space. #waec2025

VIC.MATHCLASS In this tutorial, we will solve WAEC Mathematics EXAMS question 11a and 11b. The question 11a is a (2*2) matrix, we are required to carry out matrix multiplication in dimension (2*2) and thereafter add the results. In matrix multiplication, the row entries of the first matrix multiply the column entries of the second matrix and the products summed. By this procedure we calculated the expression PQ +2Q. That is, take a product of matrix P and Q, take a scalar multiplication of matrix Q and 2, then add the results. The second question 11b is from probability of events when the sample space is not given. We followed the procedure that the probability of an event is number of events over the sample space to calculate the total number of the events that were not given. for more enquiry regarding this tutorial email [email protected]
