Camel Expedition Part 8. North to Mount Augustus.

After a wet and rainy start we head north towards Mount Augustus. The country becomes stony making camel camps hard to come by. This makes it hard for camel team due to their soft feet and sandy patches what we look for. This stretch covers 120km of the Cobra track to Mount Augustus. Although water is are plenty after recent rains the country gets drier as we head north. Arriving at Mount Augustus, the world largest rock, it dominates the horizon. On arrival to the homestead we score some hay for the camels allowing us a few days rest but attracts a wild bull in the night. #mount #camel #survival #expedition
