Mt Hood to Redmond, Oregon in the Spring

Episode 69 | April 2025 | Northern Oregon ----------- We take a trip from Portland down to Redmond (just north of Bend). Starting at Mt Hood and Timberline Lodge we then drive down towards Madras. We broke something about our transmission (still not sure what) :( But we make it down to the casino to spend one night. They were so nice! We even made a little bit of money, so in a sense they paid us to stay there! Then we head down the Deschutes River to Madras and play a round of disc golf at Juniper Hills. We eventually find a campsite about 30 minutes outside of town (where we stayed for nearly 2 weeks!) A trip down to Prineville and more disc golf at Rimrock Park was fun, then we looped back through the rock climbing area at Smith Rock State Park and then back to our camp! The spring is an AMAZING time to explore this part of the desert! We don't take sponsorships!
