The goshawk is one of the most impressive hunters in our forests. Fast, agile, and precise – a master of the skies. Yet not everyone sees it as a fascinating wild animal. Poultry farmers, in particular, repeatedly come into conflict with these birds of prey when they hunt chickens or pigeons. Every year, numerous goshawks die as a result of human intervention – through poison, traps, or illegal persecution. In some countries, drastic measures are taken against these protected birds of prey. The footage shown in this video (obtained several years ago) documents how differently people deal with the conflict between livestock farming and wildlife.
