Donal Hinely is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and glass harmonica player whose music is shaped by a lifetime of stories, travel, loss, and deep musical influence. From sneaking into Poor David’s Pub in Dallas as a teenager to hear Steve Fromholz, to discovering rock and roll, Irish folk, Van Morrison, Richard Thompson, and the great Texas songwriters, Donal’s path has taken him from Texas stages to Australia, Thailand, Europe, and ultimately Nashville. His songs carry the spirit of the road, the pull of family, and the memory of his brother Terry, whose legacy lives on through Donal’s haunting work with the glass harmonica. Honest, reflective, and rooted in storytelling, Donal Hinely’s music is a journey through the moments that shape a life.
