WHISTLE PIG 12ga.Shotgun Slug - Defying Laws of Gravity
Today we test out Brian's stainless steel Whistle Pig slug. These sabot slugs are quite large, 1.5" long and 675 grains. With the slots milled in the sides, Brian believes these will whistle as they go downrange. There was no attempt at making these aerodynamic, most 12ga. slug only have an effective range of under 100 yards so many work well even blunt like this. The really strange thing we saw in these tests is that these slow, heavy slugs seemed to fly VERY flat, with little to no ballistic arc. Be sure to watch the LAST SHOT, one of the luckiest shots I have ever seen!
