In my case, the plow and walk-behind tractor are mounted on a rigid hitch, and I adjust the distance bolts so that the right wheel of the walk-behind tractor always follows the furrow and doesn't drift to one side or the other. This method is proven. So, you can safely make a rigid hitch and adjust the alignment of the plow and walk-behind tractor using the distance bolts on the hitch. If the walk-behind tractor pulls to the left, the plow tail needs to be moved to the right. And if the walk-behind tractor pulls to the right, we move the tail to the left. How a keel works in a boat. And with a support wheel on the plow, unlike a landboard, you can adjust the plowing depth much more reliably and precisely. This will allow you to set the plowing depth that the walk-behind tractor can handle without slipping or having to push it. Don't forget about the plow's working width, which is adjusted by moving the plow on the hitch to the right or left.
