GFRR 2026 - From Commitment to Practice: Tools, Pilots & Accountability in Responsible Recruitment

As responsible recruitment gains wider recognition across business and supply chains, attention is increasingly shifting from commitment to implementation. There is growing recognition that adopting the right principles is only the starting point, and that the real test lies in how these are translated into practice in ways that are credible, practical, and responsive to worker risk. This session brought together perspectives from Stronger Together, RBA, and Verité to examine how tools, pilot initiatives, and accountability mechanisms can support stronger implementation. The discussion explored what is helping drive progress in practice, where the main challenges remain, and how current approaches can better deliver meaningful improvements in recruitment systems and worker outcomes.
