According to 1090 Jake, Yellow divulged information about several gang affiliations during an interview with law enforcement - a conversation which came about due to Yella being arrested for parking in a handicapped slot in Las Vegas and subsequent discovery of a firearm in his possession. Yella claims the gun was purchased by his girlfriend from a store. Public response to Yella's talks with police has raised questions on his credibility, especially as Jake points out that he'd criticized similar actions by others in the past. Despite Yella insisting that no one ended up in jail as a result of his statements, many on social media continue to criticize him, labeling him a snitch.
