think of this as the early halloween special... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ hello, and welcome to blu's one shots where i cover games that can be finished in a few sittings. for this video, i'll cover the wii version of Sonic and the Secret Rings. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Since this video is nearly three hours long, here's some timestamps for when different things happen. you're welcome. :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TIMESTAMPS: 0:00 - Setup 2:23 - Treasure Hunt | (Shadow, Cream, Amy, Sonic) 27:44 - Pirates Quest | (Blaze, Tails, Silver, Knuckles) 1:03:59 - Genie's Lair | (Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Blaze) 1:30:15 - Tournament Palace | (Knuckles, Cream, Silver, Amy) 1:50:34 - World Bazaar | (Amy, Sonic, Shadow, Silver) 2:20:37 - Final X Adventure, Missing Minigames, Wrap Up | (Tails, Knuckles, Cream, Blaze) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Synopsis*: oh lord, where do i begin? first off, this video took FOREVER to finish. i had previously recorded footage of this game, but the file corrupted. then, i had to wait 6+ hours for the edited rerecording to finish downloading onto my computer. then, i had to wait an additional two hours for this video to upload onto youtube!!!!!! this just absolutely sucked balls. now, onto the "game". it's a crappy sonic game made for the wii in 2007. y'know what that means: forced motion controls! the game itself is a hot mess, but for some reason, there's an optional party mode where you can play minigames and do different modes. there's even unlockable characters, minigames, and extra modes for gaining the collectibles in the main game. now, for some reason, i decided to play the entirety of it. that's right. almost three hours worth of me failing again and again and again against the extreme level cpus in motion control-based minigames... so that's fun (*NOT*).... most of them really show off how TERRIBLE the motion control is in this game. why couldn't this be gamecube controller supported? editor's note: it is, just only with players 2 - 4, which is still incredibly dumb... and for those wondering, yes, i will eventually cover secret rings (with a co host though ;)) and i will show off the whole game. though, i'll only collect the fire souls. not going for gold medals. im not crazy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ nothing much else to say. enjoy! :D ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PLAYERS: just me :))) CPU's (Extreme Difficulty) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ recorded on: 10/10/22 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ played on: wii recorded with: obs studio + elgato hd 60 s+ + AV2HDMI Converter ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
