Here are some top tips on things to do at this beautiful location. Boasting a number of picturesque and peaceful beaches, Madh Island is ideal for soaking up the sun in peace and tranquility. Madh Beach is one such location, extending all the way up to Juhu Beach, with a fraction of the crowds! Located close by is Madh Fort, a structure dating back to the early 18th century but now sadly inaccessible to the public. However, this place is a hotspot for Bollywood movies and TV shows! If your taste for history is not yet satiated, you can take a ferry to see the Hazrat Sayed Qadri Baghdadi Dargah, which is located in the middle of the sea. In Madh Island you can also visit Erangal, one of the oldest fishing villages in the area. This colourful village leads you to the unspoiled Erangal Beach and the St Bonaventure Catholic Church. Built in 1575, the stunning St Bonaventure Catholic Church in Madh Island is named after an Italian saint renowned for doing good work in the community. Similarly quiet yet scenic is Dana Pani Beach, which got its name from a restaurant located nearby that has since closed down. And, to finish off our tour of Madh Island’s numerous beaches is the most well-known one of them all - the Salman Khan-recommended Aksa Beach! Unlike its other counterparts, this one has more activity and you can enjoy some delicious street eats here as you watch the sun go down. Even as the day comes to an end, the excitement is still at an all-time high as we head to Marve Road.
