Dwight Beach | Lake of Bays | Muskoka

The spontaneity in us drove up north one Saturday morning not knowing what the weather was. As long as we have water and food, we rarely check the weather, lol. The morning started gloomy, and while we were on the road, it rained. I was already thinking, lounging on the beach while raining, are you kidding? Upon arrival though, it was cats & dogs! Of course, no one will brave the beach on a rainy day. We always associate beach with sun. So, what is the point of going to the beach when it’s raining, I asked myself? Turned out, it is the best beach visit I have experienced in Ontario (so far!). Just perfect—no people but us, unbelievably warm water, soft sand, clean beach and so relaxing! Plus, good thing it rained—I get to experience being a kid all over again!
