Misrepresenting

The plaintiffs rented an apartment from the defendant. They claim the defendant doesn’t even own the property and she moved in without the landlord’s permission. They are suing for rent, a security deposit, and a pet deposit. The landlord argues the defendant doesn’t even pay rent. The defendant says she rented a house a from the landlord and then rented one floor to the plaintiffs. She doesn’t think she owes the plaintiffs. 26-402
