Nemrut’un Kayıp Kralı

Every morning, when the sun casts its first light upon Mount Nemrut, the millennia-old stone faces are illuminated anew. Every mountain casts a shadow. But Nemrut's shadow falls not only on the earth but also on time. This peak, situated at an altitude of 2,134 meters, where even breathing becomes difficult, is one of the closest places not only to the sky but also to the past, power, and mystery. There is no stream or lake in its vicinity. The nearest water source is a 1.5-hour walk, inaccessible only by steep paths. Agriculture, livestock, and firewood are unattainable here. In winter, temperatures can drop to -25°C, and snow can reach 1 to 2 meters. So how was this place built?
