Derek Hough & Hayley Erbert’s EMOTIONAL Reunion w/ Doctor Who SAVED Her Life

Derek Hough and wife Hayley Erbert celebrated an emotional milestone with a special guest of honor. The couple returned to perform at the same Washington D.C. venue where Hayley experienced a medical emergency during their Symphony of Dance tour exactly one year earlier. Hayley had undergone emergency skull surgery after suffering a cranial hematoma following their December 2023 performance, and she and Derek gave the brain surgeon who saved her life a heartfelt welcome onstage to commemorate the anniversary. Derek shared an Instagram video of the powerful moment on Dec. 6 and reflected in his caption on how grateful he and Haley are to have had the chance to bring their story full circle. “We returned to the very same stage, the same room where we once felt so much fear and uncertainty. A place where I stood frozen, terrified, praying for a miracle. But tonight, we changed the story of that room.
