Comment j'ai dompté la carte Oasis | Timberborn

A simple oasis in the middle of the desert, 29-day droughts, ever-lengthening periods of contamination, and an Irontooth colony on Hard difficulty... In this video, I'll show you how I transformed the Oasis map into a vast, verdant valley using a network of reservoirs, tunnels, aqueducts, and hydraulic systems capable of withstanding the harshest weather conditions. Welcome to the Oasis map, probably one of the most exciting hydraulic challenges I've encountered on Timberborn. The situation starts off simple: a small oasis lost in the middle of a vast desert, only 13 Irontooth beavers, very little water, and an increasingly hostile climate. On Hard difficulty, the seasons gradually change: ✔️ normal periods with clear water, ✔️ drought periods with no water source, ✔️ contamination periods where even drinking water sources become unusable. Over the course of the cycles, these events lengthened, eventually reaching 29 consecutive days. To survive, they had to think bigger: creation of giant reservoirs, development of the Perpetual Water Project, aqueducts, hydraulic tunnels, automation of water circulation, progressive irrigation of the entire valley. The goal was no longer just to survive. The goal was to push back the desert. By the end of this adventure, almost the entire map had become fertile, and all usable water sources had been integrated into the hydraulic network. This video retraces all the stages of this transformation, from the first days of survival to the creation of a system capable of withstanding the longest droughts in the game.
