Modpsy | Deep Psychedelic Techno Set | REC:DH 005 Modpsy blends deep hypnotic grooves, cerebral textures, intricate sound design, and immersive psychedelic soundscapes. Venezuelan born, Florida raised and now based in the mountains of Colorado, Dre Hernandez — the artist behind Modpsy — is also co-owner of Dojo Haus, an underground art gallery and music venue hosting national and international electronic artists. Modpsy is the evolution of Dre’s 15+ years involved in the music industry as a DJ, Producer, and Consumer. Inspired by all facets of electronic music and its history with a subtle nod to nature and psychedelia. Dre spent his youth exploring tons of different genres from punk, trance, ska, house, dub reggae, and beyond... He has been playing clubs and afterhours, as well as hosting events since he was 18.
