Testing Tangerine Dream Concepts: 2. Leda Transit

I continue to test the compositional concepts I've gathered through study of Tangerine Dream, utilizing their step sequencer algorithms and vintage sounds in my own composition. This is the second track, all instrumental and synthesizer based. Some of the gear I used include the Intellijel Metropolix, the Squarp Hapax, The Moog 10, the Soma Pulsar-23, the Expressive E Osmose, Black-Corporation's Deckard's Dream and Rachael, and the Golden and the Starlight Delay UAD guitar pedals. I show how fruitful it can be to start with a very simple set of notes and parameters and then spin out complexity through layers of modulation. 00:00 Leda Transit Performance 02:51 Intro 04:24 Effects 06:43 Main Sequence (Metropolix/Moog10) 11:36 Bass (Hapax/Moog10) 15:21 Octaves (Hapax/Moog10) 21:52 Bells Slow (Metropolix/Osmose) 27:45 Bells Fast (Metropolix/Osmose) 38:07 Hi-hat (Hapax/Pulsar-23) 45:52 Softsynths
