5 Boro Bike Tour & Bromptons - NYC 2026

Sara and I traveled to New York City for the 2026 5 Boro Bike Tour — our third time riding this incredible event through all five boroughs of NYC. Alongside friends from Phoenix and a few new faces we met along the way, we explored the city by bike on our Bromptons, discovering neighborhoods, museums, amazing restaurants, and some unforgettable drinks throughout the week. Beyond the ride itself, we joined Brompton meetups and connected with riders from around the world who share a love for folding bikes and city exploration. We also attended a pizza party hosted by Brompton Bicycle USA, where riders gathered to talk route details, regroup points, meetups, and the afterparty in DUMBO, Brooklyn. This trip was a reminder of how bikes can bring people together and create community in cities far from home. We’re already looking forward to next year and hopefully bringing even more folks from Phoenix along for the ride. Special thanks to Sara for capturing video throughout this project.
