(SMB1) TAS Tie from 4-2.

This run was done on the 19th of May, 2026. I guess the Niftski practice method works well after all, right? I had been focusing most of my practice into 8-4IL in the past few months, while doing other research alongside it. Only recently did I start practicing the other levels, in hopes of doing 4:54.3 attempts soon. In the 15th of this month, I decided to try getting TAS Tie on OG rom... and I did it in 2 minutes of attempts. Then in the 18th, I had some time to try out some runs from 4-2, because I wanted to practice late game consistency while also having the chance of getting a good run from 4-2. I ended up getting a run past FFA in second room on TAS Tie pace super early, but things went wrong... just know that I didn't get to walljump. Then, on the 19th, Niftski told me to try and get 1 run to 8-4 to see what was gonna happen, and that's the run in this video. These were the only 2 attempt sessions I did trying to get TAS Tie from 4-2 this month, with the OG ROM 8-E being after a week of not playing the game. It really seems that the practice I've been doing throughout the last months is paying off, because I would never imagine it to take this little amount of attempts to achieve this run. For now, I'll start out by doing .3 attempts, but knowing how much better I've gotten at everything, I wouldn't be too surprised if I was to officially begin the chase for the TAS Tie within this year. It's all gonna depend on how quickly I can get 4:54.3. Intro song: Call of The Void by Exilelord.    • Call of the Void
