Black and white is very trendy right now, which is why I wanted to crochet a cushion cover for a 40cm cushion in these colors. I didn't want buttons or a zipper, so I came up with a different closure solution that creates a checkerboard pattern on the back. The cushion cover weighs approximately 330g, and you'll need more black than white yarn if, like me, you start and finish the front with black. I used myboshi yarn #2, which has a yardage of 100m/50g, with a 4.5mm addi crochet hook.
