LRC Locomotive 6909 (Detail View)
In 1997, VIA Rail LRC locomotive 6909 was sidelined at the Kingston, ON VIA station for a few hours due to some mechanical problems. I took the opportunity to shoot some detail views of this idling beauty, reasoning that they might come in handy for modeling these locomotives at some point in the future. And if you're curious - yes, the departing unit seen in "LRC Smoke Show" was this same locomotive after the 'mechanical problems' got straightened out.
