Setting Up Rope Scrapes to Monitor Bucks
If you want to try to find your bucks early to monitor them throughout the summer, then rope scrapes may be the way to go for you. In this video, we go through our setup of a rope scrape and some tips on where we hang them in the summer to try and find our bucks for the fall. Yes, they are highly useful in the fall, but they are also useful the rest of the year, as deer use them to communicate all year long. If you can't feed or use mineral, or just don't want to pay for bait and mineral, rope scrapes may be a good choice for you! They can also be used in combination with feed and mineral.
