Scrapbook Process | Single Page | “Story Central” | Traci Reed Our Story Matters | Layout 124

Today I’m sharing a Traci Reed Designs Creative Team project using Our Story Matters to document one year of Scrap with Penny and the little creative space I call Story Central. For this layout, I built the background with wide strips of patterned paper, using the gingham as the foundation and layering in several of the cheerful patterns from the collection. I wanted the page to feel bright, happy, and full of heart, so I mixed in photos from National Scrapbook Day, my YouTube channel milestone, and a few pieces of the creative process along the way. I used the embellishments to create a playful memory keeping “shelf” across the top of the page, then carried those icons and florals down into the title area. I also used the solid papers in the collection to create custom word phrases, added tone-on-tone stitching to several of the patterned paper strips, and cut my Story Central title on the Silhouette Cameo. I love when a collection helps me tell a story about why I tell stories — and this one was such a perfect fit. 💬 Do you have a name for your creative space?
