大埔大王爺誕2026 請神巡遊

The birthday celebration of the Tai Po Grand King is held on the sixth day of the fifth lunar month, the day after the Dragon Boat Festival. The organizing committee invites the Grand King, Second Grand King, and Third Grand King from the Tai Po Yuen Chau Tsai Grand King Temple. The shrines are carried in a "divine boat" from the temple, proceeding along the banks of the Tai Po Lam Tsuen River to the Grand King's Hall at the Tai Po Tin Hau Temple Feng Shui Square. After the three Grand Kings ascend the altar, the organizing committee then goes to the Tai Po Old Market Tin Hau Temple to invite the Tin Hau Queen to ascend the altar at the opera stage.
