Jugend debattiert Bundesfinale 2019 - Altersgruppe I
Controversial question: "Should high-reach media refrain from making voting recommendations shortly before elections?" A democracy needs people who ask critical questions! People who stand up, express their opinions, and engage with the opinions of others. People who can listen and speak. People who debate fairly and objectively. That's why Jugend debatet (Youth Debates) introduces young people to debate, even at school: In class and in a nationwide competition, they learn how and why debate, develop their personalities, and work together to find solutions through the exchange of arguments.
