The Hook | A Korean War Plane Crazy Short Film

Just right after the end of World War Two, Allied forces recaptured Korea and defeated the Japanese. Korea was split into two nations, North- and South-Korea. But tension raised between the two biggest nations on Earth, the United States and the Soviet Union. In 1950, North-Korea, controlled by the Soviet Union and Communistic China, declared war against South-Korea. To stop the Commies from occupying South-Korea, the just-formed United Nations sent military forces to the battlezone. In 1952, just one year before the end of the war, several frontline outposts were under siege between the Chinese armed forces and the United Nations Command. To get their hands on these outposts, the Chinese People's Volunteer Army launched a final and daring assault against the UN forces. This battle is nowadays known as the Battle of The Hook, part of the Battle of the Samichon River.
