Specifically, on this occasion, I invite you to recognize that there are things that are in danger of being lost from our rosary. What are those things that are in danger of being lost? One thing that is most in danger of being lost from our tradition of praying the rosary is silence. Yes, silence is truly an integral part of the rosary. So, besides the I believe, the Our Father, the Hail Mary, the Glory Be, and various other prayers, a part that should be included in every rosary is a moment of silence. Where does this moment of silence fit in? A moment of silence should be held immediately after each event is mentioned. So, for example, at the beginning of the first tithe, we reflect on the joyful events. After the first event is mentioned, complete with a scripture quotation, if possible, there should be a moment of silence. It's not permissible to just jump in after the event is read and recite the Our Father. But this is precisely what happens. We often get caught up in routines and systems, so everything just happens without us realizing it. We just go straight to the Our Father and then the 10 Hail Marys.
