Can i find it? #derwent #reservoir #dam North of Ladybower Reservoir in the Peak District there is another small dam hiding in the hillside. You may or may not have seen this from the A57 heading towards Glossop. The Ashop Diversion Weir, built in 1920 and used to divert a flow of water from the River Ashop all the way over to be deposited into Derwent Reservoir. In this video i walk beyond Ladybower Reservoir in search of this, as well as finding evidence of other parts of the water transfer schemes in the area.
